Taking a day off

Believe it or not, I’m going to take a day off from exercise. It’s officially my rest day in my workout program but I usually do extra cardio or pilates. Yesterday, though, my throat started to hurt and this morning it’s worse. Plus, I can’t remember the last time I took an entire day off from exercise so my body could probably use a break.

Meg asked a question about Chalean Extreme (sorry, I’m sure you’re all getting sick reading that name. From now on I’ll call it “CE”) Anyway, it is kind of expensive but even in the short 6 weeks that I have owned it the price has gone down. If you’re thinking of buying it check out ebay. Also, here’s a link to a website I read thoroughly before I bought the program. It explains all of the weight training exercises in detail so you’d know exactly what you’re doing.

Got to go take care of some kids! Maybe it won’t be a rest day :)

    HI. Thanks a bunch for researching the ways to get it cheaper. i wasn’t sure if I can do without part of it or not. Ideally it’s always best to have everything. I’ll definitely check it out on ebay if I decide to purchase it. Thanks for the link. Will check that out too. I hope you get better before you get worse. Sore throat doesn’t sound good. Usually that’s the beginning of things around here. Doesn’t it seem the everyone is getting sick more often this past year? Maybe it’s my imagination. We have some minor irritants going on here, too. One has itchy eyes, no appetite. One has nasal troubles, one had a fever and now has a cough. But all of it’s so minor, it’s not full blown. It seems to be like that lately. Got me a little worried. Might be time for a doctor visit but then there’s so much germs there… Thanks again for the info!

    I think days off from exercise are just as important as days on! For your mind as much as your body! LOL
