Rollercoasters are supposed to be fun
The way I’m going on and off-plan I feel like I’m on a rollercoaster but this one isn’t as fun as the ones I remember as a child. I had written a post earlier but it didn’t get published so I’ll just recap the highlights here.
1. Kyle slept until 6:20 (yay) and I did pilates while he was in his breathing chair
2. Planned to hit the gym for a 60 minute treadclimber workout while my older son was at his cooking class.
3. My friend called and we decided to go out for breakfast while the boys were at the cooking class, meaning I would be skipping my workout AND eating.
4. Had a great breakfast w/my friend, we never have enough time to chat.
5. Pigged out for a good part of the afternoon.
6. Hit the treadmill for 30 minutes at home while Kyle was napping.
7. Just drank a huge glass of water and set out a grapefruit for a snack.
I have a feeling this is how things are going to go until Christmas. We start our first Christmas celebration tomorrow and have one every day except for Tuesday until Christmas. I’m just going to make sure I workout extra hard and drink a ton of water. I tried on the size-16 goal pants and they still fit the way they did 2 weeks ago even though I have gained about 5 pounds according to the scale. I’m actually ok w/that b/c I’m more concerned w/size than pounds and for as much crap as I have eaten, the fact that I can still zip them up is a huge accomplishment.
