T-t-t-too much time on my hands…

A local station plays 80’s music on Friday nights so you’ll have to forgive the title.  But it’s a very accurate reflection of what’s going on in my life right now.  As predicted we didn’t have school today but only got 10 inches of snow.  Fortunately, though, most of it came overnight so by this afternoon I was able to head out and nearly finish Christmas shopping.  I think I have to pick up 4 more things but I know where they are so it’s just a matter of hitting the store.

Extra time allows for extra eating and actually makes it harder to find time to workout.  I am going to have to make sure to fit in the workout every day and plan ahead so that it is scheduled into the day.  I already have tomorrow figured out and today I was able to lift to a DVD while my hubby and older son were outside shoveling.  They definitely got the harder workout!!

I know I keep saying it but I promise that I’ll get caught up w/all of your blogs.  We still have our nurse coming during break so I will have some time next week if not this weekend.  I promise I haven’t fogotten about all of you.

Progress toward workout goal:  132/250

Shoveling snow is a weird workout. It always seems so light and fluffy and, all of a sudden, you’re huffing and puffing and getting all sweaty.

Hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Sometimes we have time to read and sometimes we have time to write. It all evens out eventually so that we’re all getting and giving support! Don’t worry about being a negligent blog visitor. We’re just happy you find time to keep us posted when things get busy.

Glad I am not the only one who feels that strange obligation of blog upkeep. Problem is there are so many great blogs. I have to stop looking at new ones!
