Still Raining

Today’s a run day. AF arrived yesterday and I really didn’t want to get up this morning. I thought to myself, “but I have cramps!” so I shouldn’t run. “I’m bloated” so I shouldn’t run. Then I laid there. And thought some more. “You know, if you run it will help alleviate the cramps. And the bloat.” Then “stop being a lazy ass.”

So I got up and ran. And it did help the cramps and bloating. Still rainy, though–hopefully it’ll clear up a bit over the weekend (it’s supposed to but those weather people lie all the time, especially during spring in the PNW!).

I was so excited to find some podcasts that follow the C25K program. I downloaded them and will try them starting Week 2–they give an auditory cue for the run/walk segments, so I won’t have to worry about keeping an eye on the stopwatch and can focus on form and breath. Way cool!
