I got up and went and met my friend for a run. Made it 2 miles. She was ready to walk. So we walked a 3/4 mile cool down. Glad to get out there, but would have liked to run a little bit more. I will get out Saturday morning.
Food has been good most of the day. Cereal and banana for breakfast. Lunch was with my dad-meat, small potato, roll and carrots. Dessert was small cheesecake. Water all day. Dinner was scrambled eggs. Then I had some almonds and Ritz crackers.
I think if I ate like my dad I would be thin as could be. All of his food is pureed. He is not the same man he was 2 years ago, or even 10 years ago. Alzheimer’s sucks!!!! He looks at me with those big blue eyes and he seems like he wants to say something but he can’t. He is like a toddler. I love him so much. I miss him talking to me. Sorry, I am babbling. I tried to add my blog that I had written a couple years ago. My mom and I drove my dad to AZ to visit his sister and I had kept a blog of the trip. I will try again later. With my daughters help.
