I woke up really sick today. I just feel awful. I did manage to weigh myself and i was down to 188. I guess coughing burns a lot of calories. So, since i am down in weight, i am modifying my mini-goal to losing 8 lbs in the next 3 weeks. I also want to try to get into exercising regularly. And, of course the main goal is to break the fast food habit, hopefully i will have absolutely no fast food for the next 3 weeks. I think that will break my addiction and then when i get back to driving 40 miles to school every day, i won’t be tempted.
So far, i have eaten nothing today and it is after 3pm, i don’t even want any coffee today. Only water, it soothes my sore throat. Unusual for me, but i guess i’m all off kilter from being sick. In fact i slept most of the day so far.
I’m getting ready to have a muffin or two while the family and i watch Gremlins. Haven’t seen that since i was a kid.
Update: I feel a bit better this evening. We’ve watched 2 movies and now we are going to start a Mario Kart tournament. I just filled up at dinner, the prime rib was good warmed over. We may have to make that a Christmas tradition.
Calories today: 2 fiber 1 muffins (196+196) with butter (20+20), a glass of tea (50), for dinner approx 8 oz prime rib (450) with 1 1/2 serv of home taters (170) made with approx 1 tbsp of olive oil (120), afterwards i had 3 chocolate truffles (300). Subtotal: 1522 calories
Update: for a latenight snack i shared a large apple (110) with my dog. Day calorie total: 1632
