Boring days…
I’m trying to get some writing projects started up to take me through the semester, so things have been pretty dull around here. Food, not good. Exercise, terrible. I have lunch with another colleague today, but my gym bag is packed, so I’ll do some weights & a run before I come home.
Today:
Breakfast: usual
Lunch: hummus & pita & a little lamb (it wasn’t good, so thankfully I didn’t eat much)
Dinner: hubby’s pork & rice noodle stir fry about 1 cup, back to using smaller bowls!
Exercise: Nope…thanks for following up tiny2b…but I suck, clearly & didn’t make it to the gym. Long walk around dog park was the extent of it.
Snacks: yes, plural snacks: 10 cashews, 17 pretzels, 12 cheese its…how those get back in the house?
Yesterday:
Breakfast: usual
Lunch: Panera 1/2 salad & broccoli/cheddar soup 1/2 roll
Dinner: hubby did a pork stir-fry with rice noodles & veggies
Snack: pound cake with peaches
Exercise: none

I can definately relate to your blah feeling in being “healthy” but glad to hear that you’ll be hitting the gym today, once you get in you’ll feel 100 times better…about everything!

42!!! You’re still just a kid. Oh you young’uns all wet behind the ears still…why I remember when I was 42…wait now, I can’t sit here and recall, on the spur of the moment, actual events of my 42nd year, but I know it had to have happened on my way to 49. Ha! Sharp as ever, my mind is!
I know…correction…’KNOW’ I could stand a size smaller as a B-day gift for myself. Well I guess that’s it then, my Capricorn pal, we’re too short for our weight and those mid-evil stretch racks are out of the question. Guess it’s good old traditional diet and exercise…and stickers!
