I’ll take it!
2.8 pounds this morning! I’m pretty happy with that considering I was afraid I wouldn’t lose a thing & this marks the first week in a really long time that I’ve lost rather than gained or stayed the same. So it’s more of a trail marker than anything else, evidence that I’m heading down the right path.
Okay, so what I did last week worked. And what I did last week was get off my butt & move…a lot. And what I did last week was eat 3 meals a day & tons of leafy greens. It’s a formula. Let’s apply it again this week & see what happens. Of course, I can’t help thinking of how great it would feel to lose 2.8 pounds for many more weeks in a row. But I don’t want to get into that whole “summer’s coming” diet rut…this isn’t a temporary thing meant to take me into summer with a better body: it’s a life-long commitment to eating better, working out, and living longer & happier. I may get to a nice weight this summer or I may not, but my goal is long-term, so I’ll get there.
