TGIF
I am so happy it’s Friday- this heat is exhausting- yesterday I went to bed at 8:30!! How sad is that? lol.
Yesterday my sister came home and the plan was to make the dinner I spoke of (Which I am making tonight)- but nope- hubby’s friend came over and wanted to eat out- I told hubby you two go out we’ll eat this dinner. My husband starts getting mad and says “don’t be like that just go yada yada” and I didn’t want to start an argument and we went to Denny’s. When we got there I was like no matter what I’m getting a salad so I got the baja chicken salad and then on the side I got ranch- I dipped into my ranch but still used most of it (for the strip and then the salad). We ordered an appetizer which was the buffalo chicken strips and let me tell you that’s my FAVORITE thing at Denny’s. I had one strip for my appetizer and it was GOOD- oh man I ENJOYED that strip lol. Then for dessert they were doing $1 cheesecake so my sister and I shared a slice (hubby and friend got their own). It was heaven also…
I went home to calculate my calories and though my calories were good the fat, fiber, and sodium weren’t. But I could have done worse- I think overall I made better choices than I would have in the past. The old me would have gotten a sandwhich, ate a lot more buffalo chicken, and so on.
Yesterday at work I spent over 2 hours moving boxes and stuff because our old flooring is being torn up and new one is coming in. I am counting that as an hour of working out- today my arms and back are sore from all the lifting. And the guys complimented me for my strength- I was the ONLY girl with the guys helping out- which was kind of annoying- if at least 2-3 more girls had pitched in we probably would have gotten done a lot faster… But whatever, I hope my boss sees how much I do and that I always pitch in.
ROUND my camera is a Casio Exilim 7.2 mega pixels. I bought mine 3 years ago for like $250 and I love it. It’s thin, sturdy, has a huge screen in the back, and uses SD cards- I have a 2GB that I use with it and that’s pretty infinite IMO. I love how it’s just slightly larger than a credit card and easily fits in my pocket

This weekend is going to be very busy- my friend from Temecula might be coming down to visit, I haven’t seen him in over a year- we did our master’s degree together. Then Broc and Cin need their nails trimmed so we are taking them in for that- and after that we have to work on a client’s site all weekend. But that’s okay cuz it’s a huge payout
TOM is here also so BOO- what a way to spend the weekend…
I’m going to be blogging over the weekend like I did last weekend- I want to keep it up cuz it helps me stay more accountable

Sometiems going to bed early like that is the only right idea. Every once in awhile, we just get pooped. Better to go to bed than eat things to try and stay awake!
Do you have a trader Joe’s near you? If so, they have these mini fiber muffins.. apple cranberry and blueberry flavors. They are 80 calories each and 13 grams of fiber

I think when you’re working so hard to lose weight and get in shape it just makes you more AWARE of what you’re doing, even when you take some time off. You did great for a night off. Like you said, even when you weren’t necessarily trying, you showed restraint. Yay, you!
