UG… let me start from the beginning. Sunday started out well…
I didn’t know but apparently we were having brunch with my husband’s aunt and grandmother Sunday morning so we went to Soup Plantation (also known as Sweet Tomato’s) at 10 am. I knew sodium content was out the window today so I had a little bit of eggs, one biscuit with gravy, and some posole soup with pork. If you have never had posole it’s SOOOO GOOD! It’s a soup that’s usually made with pork, hominy, garlic, onion, chili peppers, cilantro, and broth. I’ve always seen it red so I’m guessing it’s a tomato broth? I LOVE this stuff but had one cup of it I drank water of course. After I was done they were like come on let’s get more and I was like nah I’m good. Lately I feel satisfied with less food, I’m attributing part of this to the heat and part of it to listening to my body’s needs.
Dinner last night was pretty good but I’ll never be buying those packaged lentils again. I had peas, jerk chicken, and the Alessi Lentil soup:
I ate two pieces of chicken, half the peas, and all the lentil soup.
And for dessert hubby made snow cones- well, snow bowls lol I ate about half of it before it melted- I’m not into snow cones honestly…
The UG part? I was playing with my bird and she ended up flying over to the coffee table and then was starting to bite my husband’s xbox controller. So of course I don’t want her to do that so as I walk over there I STUB MY TOE so badly! It immediately started turning purple and this morning my whole toenail is blue/purple! It hurts SO BAD. Needless to say NO I did NOT work out yesterday and won’t be working out today. I can BARELY walk on it I was going to miss work but didn’t want to- and it’s my RIGHT foot- so I drove my ass here and now it’s throbbing. I wanted to leave early but I forgot there is a moot court today at 3:30 pm so I’m like damn damn damn- I want to go to that.
Oh and the OTHER UG part is I weighed in today and I’m at 213! *cry* I’m kind of upset but I am on TOM right now- I guess that’s what’s caused my half a pound gain? *sigh* I don’t know what happened- I was SOOO good this weekend. Heck on Saturday I only have 1000 calories! I feel like I’m destined to be over 200 lbs forever. I’m so bummed about my toe right now, I’m hobbling all around and seriously feel on the verge of tears right now Even when I went out for brunch- I thought I made some good choices- I felt like compared to everyone else I hardly ate a thing!
