Since I now have more free time to work out than I used to, I’m going to give myself an aggressive mini-goal to close out the year.
My goal: I’d like to weigh under 200 pounds by the beginning of 2009.
That means, I’ll have to lose 25 pounds in the next 10.5 weeks — which is approximately 2.38 pounds per week; or, 1/3 of a pound each day.
That’s pretty aggressive. And, rest assured, I will NOT fall to pieces if I don’t hit that target because I *know* I will eventually reach it.
So, all this mini-goal is attempting to do is keep myself on track this holiday season by reminding myself that, with diligence, hard work, commitment, & a bit of luck, I might be able to weigh less than 200 pounds by the end of the year. And that, my friends, would be fricking AWESOME!!!
