When I was almost 300 pounds, people — especially massage therapists — used to ask me if my stomach caused me lower back problems. They were usually surprised when my answer was always “no”.
Now that I’ve lost 60 pounds, however, I’m shocked to discover that I now have lower back pain! Seriously, what’s up with that?!?!?
The only thing I can think of is that either my stomach skin OR my larger sized panties (which I haven’t replaced yet) are too loose to support the tissue left in my stomach. So, despite being 8 inches smaller than before, it now hangs more than it used to.
Any ideas about what I should do?
So, far all I’ve come up with is that I think I’m going to have to start wearing my Spanx just to keep my back from hurting
