Yet even in certain defeat
the dysthymic Annie grudgingly considered the belief that life is not merely a series of meaningless accidents or coincidences. Uh-uh. But rather, its a tapestry of events that culminate in an exquisite, sublime plan?
*lifted from Serendipity starring one of my heartthrobs: John Cusack. I turned on the TV when I got home tonight and it was on the last 15 minutes. Such a beautiful ending no?
I drove most of the day from here to there and even stopped by a house that I saw online. It’s empty so I took a minute to walk through the backyard, looking in the windows and noticing the neighbors’ yards.
It was less than ideal to say the least.
Seems that’s been par for the course lately.
But let’s get back to sunshine and syrupy hotcakes…
I got a phone call from Long Beach today and she’s doing great. Expecting a baby boy and getting a Dula. It’s a beautiful thing - she’s a wonderful human being - that kid will be loved and nurtured like nobody’s business.
She’s toying around with Ivan and Ely for names. I told her I really like the name Sky (I’m gonna name my child this no doubt) as well as Rhys (love the spelling). She liked it and she’s gonna discuss it with her man.
Hope she doesn’t pick it
Seems that LA got the final ‘I don’t know’ from her boyfriend of 3 years when given an ultimatum about marriage. I told her that she needs to get the ring on her finger before opting to drag this crap out - and goodness if he doesn’t know by now?! Jerk told her, ‘It should be on my terms not yours. I don’t like the way you are handling this’.
‘Stick to your guns LA - or else you’ll get dragged around for another 3 years and it’ll be the same tired sh%$.’
But the heart is always stupid when it comes to decision making…
Oh well.
Whoops - let’s go back to that powder blue sky and those bluebirds chirping…
I had the best Thai food for dinner tonight.
I savored every bite and thought to myself - this is AWESOME.
I’ve been addicted to the bookworm game online - it’s so enjoyable. I guess I’ll play it for a bit before heading off to bed tonight.
It’s another intense day again tomorrow.
I’m gonna write that line from the movie and post it up where I can see it.
It gives one hope.
