life in technicolor
So this is basically how I felt last week.
Yesterday on my day off, I took one of my teens out because I just didn’t have the time during the week to give him the attention that he deserves.
Needless to say, he loves the mall.
‘I’m not buying you anything today. I’m broke’
‘Ok, I know.’
Well the damage wasn’t that bad and each time I learn something new about him.
I started cleaning up around here last night and today I’ve just got the bathroom left but I think I can knock that out tonight.
Yep, another Saturday night spent cleaning the bathroom.
See?
That’s one of the small pleasures of being single.
Meanwhile, I’ve managed to hurt my other knee while VACUUMING?
Feels like I pinched a nerve or something. It’s hurt now for 2 whole days.
WTF?
Waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!
Not to mention the base of my skull is killing me.
Cats couple is coming in the morning to go to breakfast and they want to go to some open houses.
There are very very few open houses in my price range. It’s even worse that what’s available is mediocre at best but I did manage to find one house in Oakland and 2 condos on the peninsula. I found a breakfast place in Pacifica that opens at 10:30 with plenty of parking and a place for her to sit in case we have to wait for a minute. They like to see the ocean so they can enjoy it on the ride over and then I could drive us across the bay if they want to go.
I guess I’ve decided that along with my botox appointment that’s sorely overdue that I also need to make an appointment to see a therapist.
Now if you’ll excuse me
Laurence Welk is on
and I’ve got a toilet
to
scrub.

What really broke me was seeing that house being ripped out of your hands. That sucked so much. It feels as if you’ve been house-hunting forever. I keep thinking of my friend who saw the house she loved and wanted it, then was told it had been sold, then a few days later was told that it was back on the market and was she still interested. They’ve been there for months now.
I keep thinking of you and your hunt, but so lovely to read about your son. Kids really are the light in a life, aren’t they?

Hmmmm. Don’t know if I ever mentioned it, but we hit the 100 mark looking for our first house. Keep looking, Darlin’ ….yours is out there. You’re amazing, you know? Making time for your clients on your off hours. Talk about beyond the call…!
Sorry about the aches and pains; I know what that’s like, for sure. But I’m ancient compared to you, m’luv. You need to get yourself seen to. You’re one of my special people, honey, and I need you happy and well. Hey - that painting - “The Scream” is mega-popular for some reason. Oddly enough, humanity in general seems to identify with it.
Love,
Z
