I screamed with JOY after I jumped into my car after work today!

SO fucking happy to be outta that place. So thrilled.

Man.

What a hectic week.

It’s ME time now!

Researcher - formerly Unemployed called this afternoon asking me what my plans were for Friday night. Come to find out he’s flying out on Saturday morning and wanted to crash at my house. I let him know I had plans and he sounded a little dismayed. WTF?

My reality check is never a little tap on the shoulder - it’s a brass knuckle fist to the face at 90mph.

As I snapped my cell phone shut - I thought - well at least I know where he’s at. To think I was starting to feel a bit soft for him.

Shucks.

Fuck that - I’m off for the next 4 days!!!!!!

I’ll hit the yoga studio and maybe take a hike :)

My house will definitely benefit from some cleaning up.

Life is so good. Honestly, I’ve got a great career, my health, my bills are paid monthly (had to qualify that statement ;) my car is running well, my friends are good people, my family loves me and I am not in crisis.

I am also OFF for the next 4 days.

DAMN.

Life is good.
