Can’t go to bed yet. It’s only 6pm. Yeah, it’s been that kinda day. I’ve eaten massive amounts of whole wheat pasta and hot chocolate (2 cups) w/whipped cream.
I am officially bummed out. Yep, that grey gloom has settled around my head and even a gusty exhale doesn’t seem to shake it. Oh well. Guess I’ll accept it and know that tomorrow I’ll be so preoccupied with travel that I won’t notice it so much.
I haven’t packed yet, but did manage to do laundry and throw out the garbage. Don’t want to have dirty laundry around for the New Year 
Seems that old LA is conversing and going out to dinner with Samurai. Now frankly, I wouldn’t indulge in such shit as it just stirs him up to thinking he might stand a chance - but hey - it’s her karma not mine. I told her that she should leave him alone, but I guess with her ‘boyfriend’ gone she’s willing to go out with him. Today he asked her about New Years Eve. I told her she better forget it - or else BAD karma. I don’t imagine her ‘boyfriend’ would appreciate that she’s still talking to and going out with the guy she threatened to leave him for.
Life, infinitely interesting.
Well, I guess I’ll go now and try to pack up stuff. I think I might take a bath as well.
Thank goodness there’s no cupcakes, cheesecake, cookies or ice cream around here.

I know the feeling when you just can’t lose the grey clouds in your mind. Been there many times. I tell myself then that just hanging on there at such times is victory enough. Once I am through the phase, I would forget about them anyway.
I was having a few such moments this weekend too. I too let myself eat a little too much. Though books, cooking and a good movie on tv kept me away from serious trouble.
Funnily enough I was trying to imagine R with some one else to measure how much I really care and I was curiously unmoved. It made me less unhappy and I kind of think it is my ego that is hurt so badly, not my heart so much. Maybe you could try doing this. It could help or it could backfire too.
