Your body is the baggage you must carry through life. The more excess the baggage, the shorter the trip.

So I had breakfast and did a 10 minute ab workout this morning and I think it did help me have more energy through the day and be less hungry. I ate this almond corn flakes cereal, it was a little sweet, but reasonably good. I also ate an orange.
Lunch was school food, fried chicken, rice, typical Korean soup, and some kimchi.
Then I got home and ate 3 chocolate chip cookies while making dinner. Dinner was a lower fat version of pasta carbonara. Or at least that’s what it should have been, but I forgot onions and burned the bacon because I was watching STDS9(what can I say, it’s the beginning of the 6th season) and it cooked faster than I expected. I did ate a much smaller portion of pasta then yesterday with some salad with ranch dressing and 2 peices of garlic bread and 3 rosemary garlic chicken strips (they were pretty good). Since the sauce was NOT successful, i added spaghtti sauce to it and it became palatable. Next time, I will not burn the bacon or forget the onions. I’ve been looking at some recipes too and noticed that some have egg yolks that I should incorporate next time. I’m still not used to using a gas burner, it’s been awhile, like years since i’ve cooked with a non-electric stovetop. I think tomorrow dinner will be a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, maybe. I do have some leftover rosemary, garlic chicken strips and lettuce so the chicken and salad would seem to be a much healthier dinner, maybe with a couple of oranges for dinner. Hmmm, maybe some bananas too? I’m actually going to bring a banana with me to woprk tomorrow as a snack. Because I’m not in love with the Korean cafeteria food (it’s edible, but nothing more most days), I only eat enough to not be hungry. That’s probably a good thing, but I’m usually hungry in the afternoon at 2:30 before I have to deal with the after clubs and need all the energy to put up with those wonderfully energetic youngones. A banana would be a good idea.
You know the weird thing is that today I had cereal for the first time in Korea while at home for breakfast and our morning snack was also cereal at school and that was also the first time. Strange things that.
So tomorrow, I will not eat any cookies and will have a lighter dinner and bring fruit to work for an afternoon snack.
