Small Goals for the Next 2 Weeks

So I’ve decided to try to focus on improving things sort of slowly. I should probaby try only 3 healthy habits out at a time and gives them at least 2 weeks before adding more.  This means that my goals for the next 2 weeks are to eat breakfast at home, get up when my alarm goes off, and do my 10-20 minute workout videosevery the morning during the week and longer ones on the weekend.  Video-wise I have Pilates 20/20, Tamilee’s I want that Body, Quickfix Kickboxing, and 10 minute solutions Pilates.  This gives a good variety. I really like the kickboxing one, it gets me going and the Pilates 20/20 lower body workout is wonderful. I really need to buy more from that instructor. It’s not a true Pilates workout since it incorporates yoga, isometrics, and kickboxing, but it’s effective and interesting.  I’m less fond of the upper-body workout on that same DVD, and the Tamilee videos are rather difficult.

Breakfast-wise, I’ve got food to eat cereal with milk and fruit in the mornings this week.

After these 2 weeks, I really want to start that couch to 5k program and keep track of my water consumption and no eating after 8 p.m.

That gets me to the first week of April when I want to add an evening 10 minute workout, eating more fruits and veggies, and buying a bicycle to get around better with and add even more healthful exercise into my days.

So now its the middle of April, and I’m going to focus on portion control and eating a more balanced diet.

Okay, I think that’s enough new healthy habits.  I’m going to try to come on here every day or so with a diet/fitness/beauty quote to inspire myself.

Today’s quote is “You may delay, but time will not” from Ben Franklin according to about.com.
