Whew, Capstone is Done…

Well, I’ve less hostility toward Mary at this moment. She sent me a link to an Oregon Trail add on on Facebook and I’m happy with her again and trying to be more accepting of her foibles.  Does anyone else on her remember Oregon Trail fondly. It was one of my first games.  I guess, no matter how old we get, we will always remember games we played as a kid with a great deal of fondness. I still take Castle of the Winds out and Commander Keen and Police Quest and Sim City.  :)  I guess today’s kids probably feel the same way about The Sims 1.  Outmoded and not superior to newer games, but playing it feels you with this warm glow. Hmmm. Games are cool.

Okay so capstone is done. I stayed up until 6 am this morning, the slept until 9:30 and edited the capstone essays. They were submitted 5 minutes to the when they were due.  I had to make some last minute changes to one of my essays because I borrowed heavily from the final paper for a class when I was looking at the instructions and noticed it said you couldn’t do that.  I required a rewrite of the paper and adding quotes from other sources, but I managed it. If I noticed that restriction earlier, I guess I wouldn’t have picked that particular question because the appeal of the question was that it was exactly like my final project from last semester.

Do not ask me what I ate that was healthy this weekend. The answer would be bagel, or zero for those who don’t watch Scrubs.  I ate all that junkfood on my roadtrip on Saturday, then pop tarts for breakfast Saturday and On the Border fajitas with guacamole live for lunch/dinner. It actually kept me full the rest of the day.

Now Sunday was my downfall. I was so stressed over capstone, I just kept eating. I ate slices of pizza, handfuls of frosted mini wheats, taquitos with sour cream and weird guacamole dip.  Now this morning I also had more taquitos ’cause I had no time to cook and they were available.

So for my last week and a half here in the U.S., what should I eat. I reckon I’m going to try to eat salad at many meals an dgo easy on the dressing for those meals.  Yeah, at this moment I’m certainly tired, but not exactly hungry.

So anyway, whatever else happended this weekend, I finished capstone.
