I went to Walmart today to return some makeup and pick up some clothes I’d ordered online and had sent to the store and to pick up the scale and look at the travel toiletries. Wow, I did do a lot. I picked up a peach colored sweater for $4.00

a black tunic style shirt with sleeves I love, but a length that seems a little long, even for a tunic for $6.

and a George a-line skirt(navy blue) for $16 full price, looks good but I haven’t had a chance to try it on yet.

They were some nice purchases, but I reckon I’ll take the black tunic shirt back since I don’t really like it.
Okay so I got the scale and :drumroll please: I weigh 176 pounds at the moment :pause: That is a bummer. I was sitting at around 165 before the holidays. My goals do not change though. My long term goal is to weigh 135 pounds, but my short term goal for the week (from this day forward) is to stay true to my diet and eat meals with less than 300 calories and the veggies and protein drink.
Now this morning I didn’t do so good. I had a protein drink, bottle of water, 2 low carb/low fat tortilla with 80 calories each and 2 bananas. I should have had another protein drink and at least one fruit. Oh and last night I went crazy on the Quakes again. But you know what? I’m not counting Tuesday or Wednesday as truly part of the diet since I’d not yet weighed myself and weighins are an important part of dieting. It’s great to see the effect your diet has on your body. right?
So I get lunch at 5:00 and will have a roast beef deli style sandwich from subway. If I take the top bun off, I can save 75 calories and have cheese to use up 41 of those calories. All in all, it will still add up to 250 calories with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and mustard. Hopefully it will be a filling little sandwich since I ran out of time before work this morning and had to sprint out the door and couldn’t make the 2 protein drinks as expected. Bummer, so without the protein, I’ll just be able to eat the 2 carrots and sandwich, but that should be enough to tide me over to the next food time. Maybe I’ll make it a meal and get some baed lays for the to eat at 9:30 with the 2 plums.
So why was I late you may wonder. I was late because I was sorting through the pile of fabric and boxes of patterns to decide what patterns and fabric would go together and which were truly worthy of being created. I was just finishing up when I looked up and realized I was 10 minutes late for leaving the house, this made me 10 minutes late to work, but I suppose that’s okay since I only took 30 minutes rather than 1 hour for lunch on Tuesday so I needed to find accomadation for that 30 minutes anyway. Wow, I am starting to get hungry now, 23 minutes til lunch/dinner/mealtime. ![]()
