I woke up in Seattle!

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Food

Went to bed in Colorado, woke up in dreary Seattle this morning… lol. Rain, fog, ugh. Seems like many of us are experiencing this, despite being in different parts of the country. Forecast for today is mostly sunny with a high of 64 and 30% chance of rain. I think the weather guys are wrong [...]

Finally…sunshine!

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Food| progress photos

I left the house this morning for work already in a GREAT mood - I’ve officially lost 30 lbs! My mood was even better when I saw the sun peaking over the horizon for the first time since, like, last Friday! Seriously, it’s rained every single day since then. I am grateful for the moisture [...]

The wonderful world of food

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Food| Health| workout

Last night, hubby and I grilled some chicken and corn on the cob for dinner. It was the best meal I’ve had in a LONG time! We used the Jack Daniels Spicy BBQ sauce on the chicken. As hubby said “I think this was better than the Chinese we had yesterday!” and I agreed. That’ll [...]

Sunny skies!

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Food

My weight dropped to 187.4 again this morning and I’m still pretty crampy and bloated, so here’s to hoping I’ll hit my goal of 185 by the end of this week!
beerab is always posting what she’s eating so I thought I’d share my meals for the past few days:
Monday

Breakfast: 10 crackers and 1/2 cup of [...]

I made my world famous apple pie this weekend and had an ever-so-tiny slice of it for breakfast this morning. I know, not the greatest breakfast, but I wanted that pie! Just now, an e-mail was sent out about free Krispy Kreme donuts in the kitchen.
Man, oh man. I want that donut. But no.. I [...]

Sammich, my love…

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Food

Today I went to Jimmy Johns for lunch. That’s three (3, tres, III, whatever) times I’ve eaten out this week so far. Yeah, yeah, I did well with the Chipotle, and my JJ sandwich was 550 calories (I only had a bowl of cheerios for breakfast), but still. That turkey sandwich tasted like heaven. I [...]

Baked potato heaven

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Food| workout

Last night on a whim, we had baked potatoes with diced ham, broccoli and sour cream (for me) and broccoli and cheese for DH. I even had a small slice of cake. And today? 197.4! Walla! Only .4 away from my goal this week. I am betting if I stay OP and exercise my butt off [...]

Reunited, and it feels so good…

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Fashion| Food| Running is my life

I have a few things to be happy about!
1) I’m a size smaller in tops now! I went shopping for some new work clothes (finally decided it was time to start dressing my age.. I’m almost 27 for crying out loud!) and found a cute dark blue blouse that fits perfectly. It’s a 14/16 when [...]

Wow

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Fashion| Food| Weigh in

Today (TOM and all) I stepped on the scale fully expecting to see a gain, given we ate out last night and while I was healthy, I overate maybe by 100 calories or so from dinner once I got home and totaled everything up. So I did my DVD for 40 minutes and hoped things [...]

egg whites, schmegg whites

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Food| Weigh in

Today for my official weigh in, 198.6 flashed before me and I leaped for joy. FOR JOY! Yippee! My calories for the week have been a little wonky, but it resulted in a loss so I can’t complain.
There are a few days that are a lot lower calorie count (around 1100) than I should have been, [...]
