I CAN fit in my pants!

Decisions

After work yesterday, I went to the gym and did 20 min on the elliptical and ran 2 miles on the treadmill.  I wanted to do the whole thing on the elliptical but I was getting bored and darn it all if the lazy/impatient side of me would rather burn more calories in less time, so the treadmill it was. Dinner was very yummy - the secret to making the recipe lighter? don’t use as much dressing! I followed the recipe exactly but left out the peanuts, fried wontons, rice sticks and cucumbers (since DH doesn’t like them). I made the dressings according to the directions but instead of pouring it over the entire salad, I took a reasonable serving (about one cup of salad mixture) and put it in a separate bowl, then added 1 tbsp of the thai peanut dressing and 1 tbsp of the lime cilantro dressing and mix it with the salad really well. We ended up making wraps out of it and it was DELICIOUS! According to TDP it is 342 calories for the entire meal including the low carb/low cal tortilla I wrapped it in. It was just the right amount of food..not too heavy but enough to be content. The dressing will keep for a few days in the fridge and it makes plenty of leftovers (brought the same thing for lunch today).

Anyway. I made DH take pictures of me in both dresses last night. I think I know which one I like better, but I’m interested to hear your opinions:

Please excuse the COMPLETELY asinine look on my face in both photos. I was dead tired at this point!

I like the top one better, but I’m partial to blacks and greys when it comes to dresses. I think they both look great though. The 2nd dress def looks better in red than int he pink you showed us previously! Your dinner sounds delicious!

I like red dress for an occasion you want to be noticed. I can just imagine the sexy heels you can wear with it. Red definitely makes a statement. I’ve always associated red with confidence, self-assured, passionate and empowered.

I’d wear the black to something more subdued like a concert, casual dinner party, and elegant. Pair it with a sexy clutch purse and heels. Black I associate with classic, serene, smart, and elegant.

haha love both though

you definitely look younger and hotter in the red one. The black one’s top (bodice) portion looks, I’m sorry…matronly. It’s the style, not the wearer. ;)

Agreed! InControl that’s exactly the connotations I have for each dress. I also don’t like that the black one flares out at the bottom.. I think it makes me look wider. And given that I have lost nearly 60 lbs, I want to STAND OUT! :D

I totally agree with incontrol, and, your smile says it all - red it is! I like the black one too but the red is more holidayish.
