Week 1 *almost* complete

Posted by: Fat Pants In: ChaLEAN Extreme| Fashion

Last night I did Burn Circuit 3 and today will be a 5 mile run because the chances of me going to the gym over the weekend are slim to none. I’ll bust it out after work today and start my weekend off right. I’ll post my first week results on Monday since technically it [...]

Exhausted

Posted by: Fat Pants In: ChaLEAN Extreme| Food

I wish I could turn off my brain!!
Yesterday’s snow storm was much ado about nothing until last night. Then we really got hit! I was worried about driving my 4Runner on the ice… we got it in April and never really had a chance to get used to driving it on the snow since it [...]

Blizzard!

Posted by: Fat Pants In: ChaLEAN Extreme

Not really. It’s worse in Denver (for once) - they’re just calling for 2-4 inches down here. It’s been snowing for about 2 hours and nothing is accumulating yet so hopefully it stays pretty light for the drive home. I’m scheduled for 5 miles at the gym today so c’mon weather gods… let’s get [...]

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Food

It’s so easy, it’s ridiculous. This recipe is for two, so double if you want to make more.

1 package of chicken strips or cutlets
Ready-Pac cabbage cole slaw mix (about 1-2 cups of mix)
Dole shredded carrots (about 1/2 cup)
Cilantro
La tortilla or any kind of tortilla that you like

dressing

2 TBSP House of Tsang thai peanut sauce
1 TBSP [...]

Done and done

Posted by: Fat Pants In: ChaLEAN Extreme| Food

Yesterday was a 3 mile run at the gym. Call me crazy but I’m actually starting to like running on the treadmill again. I don’t know what happened in my mental shift (I used to loathe it) but I work up such a good sweat and have been running so well that it’s enjoyable now. [...]

Step away from the Halloween candy…

Posted by: Fat Pants In: ChaLEAN Extreme

I have a LOT to write about!
First, the race. I’ll just copy and paste what I put on the runner’s thread in the forum:
Ugh what do you want to hear? It wasn’t pretty LOL
I think my offical time was 38:02. HRM time was a little shorter but not much. I wanted to get comfortable with [...]

Happy Friday!

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Races| Weigh in

It’s Friday AND pay day… always a good combination.
I’m down to 158! A good thing. I have 20 POUNDS until goal! *faints*
I pulled out a pair of size 8 dress pants that have been sitting in my closet for probably 5 years now. The last time I remember wearing them was when I was 22 [...]

I’ve uploaded my 12-week challenge spreadsheet to Google docs. Go to this link:

and hopefully you can see it! If anyone wants a blank worksheet, let me know and we will figure out how to get it to you.
Whew!
I had to make some allowances for travel. There are two weeks there where it’s going to be [...]

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Deep thoughts by Fat Pants

It’s been another long week. The days just seem to be dragging. I am BURNT OUT.. oh sweet vacation, just four weeks away! Please come soon!
Since the weather was mighty sucky yesterday, I went to the gym to run. I had planned on 5 miles but then remembered I’m racing on Saturday! Last week after [...]

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Posted by: Fat Pants In: General

Very windy and snowy today… going to work at 5:30 this morning, I saw a CRAZY MAN running outside… in shorts, no less! I don’t think I’ll ever be that dedicated. Get a treadmill… sheesh!
I have yet to get into the holiday spirit…usually by September, I’m anxious for the holiday season to arrive, but this [...]
