I CAN fit in my pants!

I’m too young to feel this old!

Posted by: Fat Pants In: General

I slept on my neck wrong and woke up with a terrible neck ache/headache. Sleep last night was restless… I woke up several times and just couldn’t get back to sleep. I hate it when that happens! I feel like a cranky old woman today… LOL.

Yesterday was a pretty good day. My coworker wanted to go to lunch so I suggested Subway - I got the whole wheat (BIG accomplishment… I hate whole wheat) 6″ turkey with loads of veggies. Then for dinner, I grilled chicken breast and topped it with mozzarella cheese and pesto. Mmm! I went to the gym after work and did the elliptical for 20 minutes before I got bored. The treadmill was calling my name. I couldn’t resist. So I did 1-mile intervals… first mile just at my regular pace, second mile doing tempo/speed work, and third mile run/walk intervals. I was dripping sweat like nobody’s business! It’s funny - I haven’t been to the gym since, hmm, early May since I have been running outside. I saw one of the owners and she couldn’t get over how much weight I had lost (weird to think that I was about 20 lbs heavier when I saw her last). We got the rest of the bathroom painted and DH started on the tile work. I think it looks great, DH thinks the paint color (a mossy green) looks 70s-ish. Hmph! think with the right towels/accessories it will look like a spa. I’ll have to take a photo when we’re done.

Today is my yearly lady parts exam. Joy. I’m a tiny bit looking forward to it because I’ve lost weight, but still. At least the uncomfortable part is only about 30 seconds long. Ugh.

ETA: Another nice thing about this year’s exam? The gown actually fits over me!!! Hallelujah!

What a great work out you got in. Doesn’t it feel so damn good when people comment on how much weight you’ve lost? It gives me incentive to keep going.

UGH! re. the exam but at least it’s over fast and then you’re good for another year! ;)

I need to schedule mine. I dread it so much…and honestly, the biggest part I dread is getting on the scale. How crazy is that?

I woke with my neck that way the other day. Not fun at all.

Congrats on the compliment! Have you tried ( if you can get it) Natures Pride 100% whole wheat bread? My kids HATE whole wheat…but they don’t mind this one. I think it tastes great. Some ww breads taste bitter to me…this one doesn’t, and it doesn’t have any HFCS in it either.

The best part about the exam is that once it’s done it’s a whole nother year before you have to go again! YAY!

Thank goodness it’s over!! That’s just not a good feeling. Ever.

Renee- I haven’t tried Nature’s Pride… usually my DH is the only one who eats sandwiches so I just buy whatever he likes. I’ll have to check it out!

Intervals are really effective and how wonderful that the lady at the gym noticed the change.

Maybe last night was a night for bad sleep, I’m a grouchy lady today, too. Actually, I should get my butt to bed and try to recapture some sleep. G’night.
