I’m really battling the exercise excuses today. It’s too hot. It might rain. I’m too tired. DH might not go mountain biking (ha! He is…that one didn’t stick). I ran yesterday. I have too much stuff to do. And on, and on, and on…
I’m trying to make a reward for myself. If I go run, I can go shopping. Seriously, what is an hour out of my life?! I need to make a list of reasons why I should exercise.
1. Because the race is in less than 3 months and I still can’t run the whole stupid thing
2. Because I’ll have plenty of rest time next week
3. Because I KNOW that the only way I lose weight is from exercising
4. Because it melts away the stress
5. Because I sleep better at night
6. Because I feel proud about myself, all hot and sweaty, when I finish
7. Because people thought I was kidding when I said I wanted to run a 5k!
8. Because people at work admire me for actually doing it - who am I to let them down?
9. Because Sunnygee’s annual physical post reminded me that mine is at the end of July and for once I won’t have to talk to my doctor about losing weight!
