Weekend report

Posted by: Fat Pants In: General

Well this weekend was so-so. After no feeling great on Friday, the hubs and I went to Chili’s and I had a side salad and tortilla soup. The soup was pretty salty so I didn’t eat much, and the salad was yum. I was happy for making good choices, because I didn’t get a walk in later that night!

Saturday was a total blow out. Let’s just say it involved 4 donuts and a strawberries-n-cream frappuccino from Starbucks. I got in about 15 minutes of walking before a rain storm. Yikes! Live and learn, I guess. Like.. I learned you can’t keep donuts in the house!

Sunday was a bit better. We had turkey brats for dinner (I only had one!) and a 45-minute walk. I made homemade bread, and didn’t go to town with it. At least the entire weekend wasn’t a total disaster, which is usually what happens.

So today it’s fully back on track. The gym is on the menu today, with weight training included. All of the AF bloat and water retention should be gone by Thursday so I will weigh in then. For now, it is..unfortunately… back to work.
