Feeling like crud

Posted by: Fat Pants In: Food| workout

I’m sure I could feel worse this morning, but it doesn’t seem like it. I don’t know if it’s allergies or a cold, but my nose is miserable, and kept waking me up all night. On top of that, my stomach feels super queasy.. I think it’s because of drainage going into my stomach all night, but I feel downright yucky. Then, TOM started a day early…what’s up with that??? I have 80 hours of PTO left and I’m using most of them for Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation, but yuck. I wish I stayed home today.

Well I got in 40 minutes at the gym yesterday, 20 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the elliptical. Whew! I was wiped out when I got home. My in-laws were down to drop off some flagstone for our backyard, so they took us out to dinner. Silly me suggested On the Boarder… YUM. I was good and had the Chicken Salsa Fresca dinner, which is 520 calories if you eat the entire dinner, but I only ate half of it. The chips did me in, but I figured I only ate half a bowl (250 calories) so I was right on par with calories for the day.

Unfortunately life as a grad student has me going over to campus after work today, so I won’t make it to the gym, but DH promised me a walk tonight, so hopefully I’ll get at least some exercise in. I make a rule only to weigh myself once a week because it’ll discourage me too much if I weigh myself every day. Plus two heavy dinners two nights in a row - even if they were in my calorie range - might cause too much fluxuation. And TOM..well, you know how that goes.

We have lunch brought in for us at work today - I’m guessing it’ll be pizza - and it’s date night for DH and I, so I’ve got to be careful on my food choices today.

B: Grande nonfat chai latte (230 cals)

L: Papa John’s pepperoni pizza (1 slice only!!! 400 cals)

D: ???? Have about 900 cals left. Maybe I will eat half of a second slice of pizza at lunch to balance things out.
