Feeling it today

Posted by: Fat Pants In: General

Yesterday I did weights for the first time in who knows how long. My arms are really feeling it, which is good… that’s where I need to do weights the most! I’m really wishing I had my exercise ball already because the four sessions I had with a personal trainer taught me a lot of strength training exercises that I can do on my own without weights. Sometimes I think the best form of strength training is with your own body. Anyway, I think I found the one I want to get: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8056508

So back to the gym. I got in 15 minutes on the weights and 25 minutes on the elliptical/stationary bike. It was a good workout. I felt like I could have gone longer, but I needed to get home. DH and I went for a 45 minute walk last night after supper. We ended up skipping church - just too burned out, and had to get the house cleaned since the in-laws are coming down today - so we went to Chic fil A for dinner. I could have made a better choice (like grilled chicken sandwich instead of the regular chicken sandwich), but I knew I had so many calories left that I went ahead and splurged. I ended up about 80 cals over my daily limit, so that’s what the 45 minute walk was for!

Anyway, here is today’s meal plan:

B: 4 slices turkey bacon, Simple Harvest oatmeal

S: babybel cheese, 1/3 c craisins

L: 4 oz chicken breast, 10 fritos, apple

S: yogurt

D: Dunno, since ILs are here I’m sure we’ll go out to dinner.. now’s the time to exercise willpower and good decision making!
