happy re-union

I took many photos, but for some reason only 1 of Dad & Nan hugging. Some day I will get the cell phone photo thingy figured out. I forget to hit save too many times!
There were better ones that I had, but the save thing eluded me again. She was very chatty with Colleen, and Colleen was kind with her. It made me happy. Sometimes I was the interpreter and sometimes I was the reasoning and calming voice with Nan when she would start to fuzz out a bit or get frustrated trying to remember what she was saying. I corrected Dad on some of is theory’s, (really sometimes men can be plain stupid) and hopefully, when Nan asked Dad to visit again, he said this week..he will KEEP his word.
She just brightened up. He lives 7 minutes away,. I live an hour and a half….but I still make it! Regardless, Nan was happy!
Weight wise, well, I have living. We went grocery shopping Friday and I ended up asking Stacy for 100. for his share. We usually don’t do that, but we went 100 over budget and he had an extra 300. from his bonus. I felt awkward, he was fine. Today I need to go to Shoppers and get some CLA as I have been off it a month and it showed such good helpful ways! This morning I had steel cut rolled oats, some activia vanilla yogurt and for a snack I had an Asian pear. YUM. A good brekkie! I think I am going to put a roast and some vegetables in the slow cooker to have for supper. Nice, healthy, and good for lunch tomorrow as well!
I have been reading your journals my chickies, but my apologies on not replying.

Beautiful pictures, Lady! It warms my heart. Your Dad will treasure them one of these days and you’ll know that you were the one who was behind such a wonderful event.
As for keeping up with everyone, I know what you mean. We only have so much time and it’s so hard to stay in touch with all the wonderful, supportive, chicks! I read blogs and it seems like the time it takes to read them uses up all the time I have and I never get around to responding.
Thanks for sharing your precious family stories
