Hi, actually.. I did this diet last year and lost a lot of weight - I never worked out before this diet and then I started using my treadmill and went from sedentary to walking/sprinting 3 miles 3-4 days a week.. which says a lot for me. At that time, I didn’t feel too bad, I actually had more energy - but I noticed that there were days my body did not want to, and I had to take it down a notch.
I am going to start working out again, I know that we’re not supposed to do strength-training b/c you’d need a different diet for that (I think transition is a good time for that b/c of the protein, but not sure..). When I used to go to the doctor, he told me that walking was best, basically, we’re losing weight fast enough as is so I don’t think we should overdo it with the cardio, I suspect we could lose muscle by doing that because I don’t know if we are getting enough to be doing that. Then again, everyone’s body is different..
Sorry I don’t have clearer answers, but honestly when I did a modest amount of cardio, I still felt pretty great - but only when I was eating everything correctly and I had been dieting cheat-free for at least 2 weeks..
Hope that helps!
Oh and for the hunger thing - I have to admit that I did feel that sometimes, and I had to rotate the beads more often - before and after the workout - and had to drink much more water.. So it didn’t happen always but days that I pushed myself, yes.
