I bought them and loved them. They certainly taste alot better than any other brand that I tasted. It helped curve my sweet tooth.

I haven't tried them and I don't think I will... I make my own version of chocolate bran muffins that are probably twice the amount you would get with these little things AND my muffins are only 1 point! I am finding making things for myself is much better than buying processed stuff... you usually get more from the stuff you make yourself!

OMG, I made the mistake of first trying the Carrot cake version because I LOVE carrot cake. It was the most disgusting thing I had ever eaten. It tasted like I was taking bites of over floured carrot cake batter. It was just horrible. The frosting is the real cheat because it tastes like absolutely NOTHING.

A few days later I tried the chocolate. Whereas it was very bland in flavor it surprisingly satisfied me. I didn't even realize the points were different I counted them as 2. Thanks for the info!

The size of these cakes are very disapointing because they make them out to be something special then you open them up to something that to some people could be one single bite. I would have still bought them without the disapointment.

Lets just call these cakes the "fools gold" of the 100 calorie snacks. If you insist on jumping on the 100 calorie band wagon try the quaker mini delights. I have tried every flavor, they are delicious and satifying! My favorite it the cinnamon struesal. YUMMY!

I ADORE these things!!! I am pregnant and need to spend most of my calories each day on fruits, veggies and protein, so these have been a LIFESAVER. Kudos, Hostess!

I love these little cakes as well. Chocolate ones ok..Golden are Very Yummy...Carrot Cake-ewww. I agree they have a funny taste.

Leenie, Hostess still makes those incredible cupcakes you were talking about, the regular sized ones. Wal-Mart used to carry them but no longer. I actually found them at my local grocery store (Giant Eagle). They're a little pricey, but hey..what isn't now adays? I've also found them at the Hostess Bakery Thrift Store. Good luck.

I tried the chocolate when they first came out and at first was so excited about a great low calorie snack and they satisfied the "sweet" craving. However, I quickly learned that they dont keep well and mold much quicker than I expected, I will not buy them again, I find a chocolate graham cracker with a tablespoon of cool whip (1 point for those on WW) the best way to cure my need for something sweet.

I agree with all of the WW people - I, too, need that hit of chocolate almost daily - I froze the box & find that eating them frozen makes those 3 tiny cupcakes last a long longer - I doubt I wold have them around long enough for them to form mold - freezing them eliminates the issue to people who would not go through a box in a week or so. You can't beat that 1 point for a chocolate snack.

I just tried the golden cake with chocolate frosting and I think they're great. I was really craving a cakey junkfood snack with my coffee and these really took the edge off. I find it somehow more enjoyable that there are three cupcakes (no matter how small) versus one larger cake - plus it means you get frosting in every bite. The cake seemed moister and denser than a typical cake. My only complaint is that the frosting is very wet and gets all over my fingers. Perhaps refrigerating or freezing as people suggested will solve that problem.

The carrot cakes are nasty! They have a very strange taste - I'm going to try to give them away.
