The Anabolic Diet is a low carbohydrate diet that is designed to turn your body into a fat burning machine instead of a carbohydrate burning entity. The diet is designed to make your body switch modes from utilizing carbohydrates as energy and instead utilize the body’s fat supply. Through this process, you will be able to lose unwanted body fat.
The diet has two phases, a low carbohydrate and a high carbohydrate period. The low carbohydrate period takes place during the week and the high carbohydrate period occurs on weekends. Dieters are advised to eat 5 to 6 small meals a day.
