Q: How important is it to monitor body fat percentages?
A: It is not. The only accurate way to measure body fat percentage is through underwater weighing in a lab. Most of us don?t have that luxury. I am not a fan of having some number tell me how I feel or should look. If you have a good diet and exercise program then you should see and feel results. The best gauge is how your clothes fit and how you feel. You should notice some loosening in certain areas with respect to your clothes and you should feel more energetic. Don?t worry about some number that is a bit hard to grasp.
