6 Natural Ways to Get Rid of Parasites

Parasites are unwelcome organisms in the body. There are over 3,000 varieties of parasites that may invade the human body. Tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms and pinworms are just a few of the more commonly encountered parasites.

A common misconception about parasites is that they only live in the intestines. The blood, vital organs, lymph system and bodily tissues are examples of other areas in the body that parasites may live. You can catch parasites through food. For example, raw fish found in sushi has the potential to transmit parasites. Some parasites find their way into your system through your skin. Hookworms, for example, enter through the skin, move through the blood and end up in the small intestine and lungs.

When you leave parasites untreated, they can create a range of health problems. These include issues such as anemia, chronic fatigue, malnutrition, pneumonia and nausea. Here are six natural ways to rid your body of parasites:

1. Garlic

Eating garlic has been known to kill parasites. When using garlic to treat parasites, it is best to eat it before meals. Doing so will stimulate gastric secretions and kill off the invaders.

2. Honey and Papaya Seeds

Mixing honey and papaya seeds is a good strategy for killing parasites. A research study found this method to be effective in 23 out of 30 study participants. When using honey and papaya seeds, be sure to drink lots of water. This will help to cleanse your system.

3. Papain

Papain is a digestive enzyme made from papaya. Take this digestive enzyme 30 minutes before meals. In addition to killing parasites, this enzyme keeps your intestinal tract in good condition. This creates a condition that makes it difficult for parasites to infest the body on an ongoing basis.

4. Pumpkin Seeds

Eat pumpkin seeds. They are particularly effective in killing roundworms and tapeworms. Lightly pan or oven roast them to remove any possible contaminants that may be lingering on them. Pumpkin seeds are more effective for killing parasites if eaten on an empty stomach.

5. Carrots

Carrots contain an essential oil that destroys roundworms and pinworms. To kill parasites, grated carrots work best. Be sure to eat them on an empty stomach several times throughout the day.

6. Pomegranates

Pomegranates are known for their sweet and sour flavor. They are useful for destroying worms in the intestinal tract. Eat them raw in isolation of your regular meals.

Consult a doctor for the best way to treat parasites if you suspect any serious issues. Avoiding refined foods, sugars and dairy products is a good idea to avoid feeding parasites. Eat high-fiber foods to not only get rid of worms, but to create an environment that is inhospitable to all parasites. When you are going through a parasite cleanse program, increase your water intake to more effectively eliminate them from your body. Your doctor can test for parasites through stool tests or x-rays to determine if parasites are an issue for you.

  • Carrie Haldeman

I was told by a Doctor in 1991 that I had a parasite in my urine tract that was causing by weight gain but before he could help me with it I lost my insurance. He told me if I got rid of it I would start losing weight immediately. \

Every Dr. sent has told me they would not check me for it because I have not been out of the country, even though I had the proof from my medical records. The last Dr. laughed in my face and tore up the paper in my face. Said I was just eating to much and a couch potato.

I don’t have any insurance and have lost my job so I can’t go to a Dr. but they would just take 1 look at me and tell me to stop eating. So why bother to go and spend my money on them?

I am so tired of this weight and tired of people and Dr. telling me to get a life.

I exercise all the time and have always watched what I eat.

    I worked retail for years.

Thank you for listening to me.
